The elections for both the South Central Chapter and the Hospital Library Interest Section have closed, and the votes have been tabulated and verified.  So herewith please find our newly elected SCC & HLIS officers!

 

·         SCC President-Elect: Stewart Brower

·         SCC Secretary: Beatriz Varman

·         SCC Treasurer*: Dawn Kruse Field

·         Nominee to the MLA Nominating Committee: Rajia Tobia

·         MLA Chapter Council Representative**: Jennifer Lloyd

·         MLA Chapter Council Alternate**: Montie’ Dobbins

 

·         HLIS President-Elect: Hannah Rutledge

·         HLIS Secretary: Lisa Huang

·         HLIS Treasurer*: Barbara Steffensen

 

All of these individuals will assume their new positions at the end of the upcoming SCC Annual Meeting in Fort Worth, with the following exceptions:

 

·         The SCC & HLIS Treasurers (*) will take office on January 1, 2014.  This term runs concurrent with the Chapter’s fiscal year.  From October through December, the outgoing and incoming Treasurers will work together closely to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

·         The MLA Chapter Council Representative & Alternate (**) will take office at the MLA Annual Meeting in Chicago (May 16-21, 2014).  From October through May, the outgoing and incoming Representative & Alternate will work together to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
