The University's Procurement Card (ProCard) program allows departments to
make their small-dollar purchases ($2,500 or less per transaction) with a
simplified method of payment. This program provides departments with a cost
effective and convenient method that reduces the volume of individual
payments processed by the University to vendors.
Controls and procedures are in place to guard against personal transactions
and purchases of unauthorized products or services. We also guard against
issuing ProCards to individuals who are not authorized to have them.
The Purchasing Department is offering ProCard training for new users and
approvers on Thursday, August 14th at 10 A.M. to 12 Noon in Conference room
33 in the Purchasing Office at 2750 Venture Drive, Norman, Ok 73069.
Questions should be emailed to Jean Wilson, Assistant Director, Purchasing
